Dear Beverly;
My name is D, I am 44. I have had 11 major surgeries dealt with cancer. My goal is always to help those less fortunate in need. Yet now I do not have funds for food I live in a friends home that I have been told I need to buy.
The relationship I am in the man is 45 going blind in one eye and losing his hearing.
We have tried to get help but none to speak all run arounds. Have had a law suit on my breast for almost 10 years and yet nothing.
I feel lost confused.
Can you please help.
Love and Light D

Dear D:

Life can send us enormous challenges that rock us in our deepest self. I am also a cancer survivor and know personally how vulnerable and fearful it is to heal. You are not alone in your battle.

The Yin: Even though you are discouraged, continue to look for resources. Check out your own abilities to work, to be part of the world around you. No matter how small your contribution, it will count toward your own self-esteem and confidence. The road to a better life and more joy is living each day with something important to you, something you care about. People in the worst conditions imaginable, like a concentration camp, found a way daily to feel their spirit nourished.

The Yang: Be willing to give up a belief that you are a victim. Find the light within your beautiful spirit. It exists even when you are convinced there is only darkness. We make something by believing it is that or this. How you see it, is what it becomes. If you see it differently, it will be something else.
Best Wishes,
